There Will Come Soft Rains

In acknowledgment of possible dystopian futures, author Ray Bradbury goes in-depth about a nuclear catastrophe. Based in 2026, no human in sight, and all that survives is a futuristic home that runs itself. Yet, the house burns to the ground and joins in with the remaining surrounding ruins. This story, harsh but utterly possible, posing around dystopian futures can lay as a result of struggles in today’s society. Going down the road of war and harming the surrounding environment will create this story into a real-world ideal. All in all, this can be a possible fate for the world we call home and is essential for survival. Hopefully, this dystopian doom is not the case in 2026.
